This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all service bookings, fitment test bookings, and AMC purchases made through the Sharaj Electrotech website.
1. General Policy
All payments made on the website are collected in advance for service scheduling and operational planning.
Refund eligibility depends on service type and cancellation timing.
2. Service Booking Cancellations
For one-time service bookings:
- Cancellations must be requested before technician dispatch
- If cancellation is approved before dispatch, refund may be processed after applicable administrative deductions
- If technician has already been dispatched or has reached the service location, no refund will be applicable
If the vehicle is not available at the location within the allowed waiting period and the technician leaves, the visit will be treated as service attempted and no refund will be issued.
3. Fitment Test Cancellations
For fitment test bookings (online or on-site):
- Once inspection is scheduled, fitment test charges are non-refundable
- If customer is unavailable at scheduled time, booking will be treated as attempted
- Fresh booking will be required for next inspection
4. AMC Purchase Refunds
For Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC):
- AMC amount is non-refundable once activated
- If AMC is purchased without fitment approval, activation will be on hold until fitment is completed
- If customer chooses not to proceed after purchasing AMC but before activation, refund may be considered after administrative review and deductions
5. Refund Processing Timeline
If refund is approved:
- Refund will be processed to the original payment method
- Processing time may take 7–10 working days depending on bank or payment gateway processing timelines
6. Payment Gateway Charges
Payment gateway transaction charges, if applicable, may be deducted from refund amounts as per gateway policies.
7. Service Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests must be raised before technician dispatch and are subject to operational availability.
Rescheduling after service attempt is not permitted and requires new booking.
8. Exceptional Circumstances
In rare cases of operational failure or service inability from our side, refunds or rescheduling may be offered at the discretion of Sharaj Electrotech after internal review.
